The Charter Module provides all the necessary tools for creating a Charter
operation. The mulit-facet funcitons include the Management of:-
- Quotations.
- Bookings.
- Invoicing and.
- Vehicle and Driver Allocation.
Charters can be maintained for a one-off, recurring or repeating charter and
group bookings are make easy, simply entered all from the single screen. Recurring
Charters can be generated as many times as required for the week, month or year
and once the Charter is physically completed, posted for automatic invoicing.

Charter Summary
- The Setup folder in Charter manages the parameters and settings of Charter.
Here charge settings such as Passenger and Coach Rates options can be maintained.

- All Charter Vehicle Movements can be viewed via the Charter Calender for
any month of any year of any depot.
- Details of quotes and or bookings are maintained from the Charter Calendar
including Single Charters, templates for Recurring and Repeating Charters.
- The Daily Diary report can be printed to aid in the scheduling of buses
and drivers.
- Daily and weekly rosters can be maintained.
- Vehicles and Drivers can be allocated to In and Out portions of Charters
bookings. Alert messages appear for the charter being scheduled, if the vehicle
being assigned does not have vehicle attributes requested by the customer. For
example, if a customer requests air conditioning, and a vehicle without air-conditioning
is assigned, the alert message appears. If an allocated vehicle or driver causes
an overlap, the system will automatically highlight vehicles and drivers that
are double-booked.
- A Charter can be marked as completed physically but pending sales adjustment.
When a Charter has been marked for sales adjustment, invoices cannot be printed.
- Completed Charters can be printed multiple times before posting records
to the General Ledger, Charter History and Debtors file.
