Recurring Journal enables the entry of recurring journals for automatic generation.
After generation, these journals can be amended as a normal journal transaction.
The Recurring flag must be selected to enable the entry of the recurring Duration
periods. A Recurring Journal can also be maintained from within the main Journal
Form.

- The Batch defaults
to the system setting <tab>.
- Option to key in the Journal number <tab>.
If the Generate Journal # is checked in Control Information
file, a journal number will automatically default.
- Key in the Date to be applied to the journal <tab>.
The Date will automatically default to the current date when opening a new
form.
- Option to key in a Description of the journal entry <tab>
Duration
- Key in the number of days weeks, months or years <tab>.
- Select the duration ie. days weeks, months or years from the default
pick list <tab>.
- Key in the Start date of recurring journal <tab>.
- Key in the End date of recurring journal <tab> <tab>
for new line of entry.

- Key in the Account
Code <tab> (Alt-F or right mouse click to Find and Maintain a record).
The Account Description will default from the Account code
- Select the applicable Tax
Code from the default pick list options <tab> (use right mouse click
to Find and Maintain a record).
- Key in the Debit amount or press <tab> to key in the Credit
amount <tab>.
- Option to key in additional Description <tab>.
- Option to key in additional Notes <tab>.
Place cursor in the white box to key in extensive notes.
- The Credit and Debit boxes display the total sum amounts of
these two columns.
- The Balance box displays the difference between total Debits and
total Credits.
Completion Instructions Recurring Journal Form
- Select OK or <Enter> to accept the Recurring Journal entry.
- Select Cancel to reset the Recurring Journal form to original settings.
- Select Delete to delete the current Recurring Journal record.
